A new experience: Lisbon

This summer I had the opportunity to get to know first-hand a company in the tourism sector. I spent 5 days training in a 5-star hotel in Lisbon. The stay began with a tour of the facilities to get to know the range of services on offer, location, etc. As well as getting to know the visible part of the hotel, I was able to visit the heart of the hotel, its work areas ..... During my stay I got to know the organisation chart of the company and its team. In addition, the meetings with management helped me to learn about aspects related to revenue management, regulations, types of clients, event management and to learn about the processes of some of the departments.  I have also been lucky enough to get to know Lisbon and its surroundings.

FIFTH DAY - F&B DEPARTMENT

Today I learned about some terms related  to the Food & Beverage department. I would like to highlight its gastronomic offer orchestrated by Chef Alexandre Santos, characterised by a mix of Portuguese tradition and iinovation. The Panorama restaurant offers magnificent views of the city of Coimbra.  In the afternoon, visit to Porto, a crowded city but highly recommended!
